tranny swap question

alright, its prob been answered a few times, but i dont have time to "google" it so...i have a 97 s14 and i picked up a s13 5 speed trans from a guy on here. he told me the only thing that i have to get thats s14 is the dshaft? therefor clutch, fly, clutch pedal should all work regaurdless of s13 or s14? is there any other special mods that will have to be done?

If this is an auto to 5 Speed swap question you better stop right there and start search seeing this has been covered for almost 20 years now

but as a hint everything to need needs to be S14 related

You will need an s14 bellhousing for the cas diagnostic sensor. Otherwise your engine light will be on.

i really hate to reply to everyones post in this way, but can you read? i said i DONT have time to search this, i work 70+ hours a week on top of being a single father of 2 kids..not to mention that i dont have internet at my house..so if someone could acthually answer my question instead of just telling me to search it, id appreciate it!

If you have time to work on car despite your 70+ hours a week workload and 2 children with no mother, I REFUSE to believe you lack the time to do some legwork for something that has been covered time and again.
and then argue about it.
