maybe he wanted to buy carbon fiber doors but only could find them for s15? but iirc, hpi makes cf doors for s13 as well. they just cost a little over $1000.

other companies make fibeglass s13/s14/s15 doors too. :) pretty nifty for a full time TRACK car.

Wow... I don't think I'd feel safe with a totally CF door... Yes, theoretically CF is stronger / lighter... but I'd feel wary.

It is stronger if you lay it the right way and are intending it to be stronger than stock. However these aftermarket doors are strictly to be lighter, they are not concerned with strength. That is why they are strictly TRACK doors unless you have an Extremely crazy cage in your car.
