Yesterday i spent 3 hours washing and detailing my car. Carefullig applying every mcguires product with tiny strips of terry cloth wrapped around a toothbrush. Wow..showroom shine.
And then, torrential downpour and mud puddles. I looked at my poor car this morning...no longer is it burgundy....it seems to be this light brown color. Chunks of mud hanging off the front spoiler and side mirrors.
I quit. I'm wrapping my car in ceran-wrap and just peeling it off at the end of the day.

see my picture on the left? i was happy about getting rid of the tear drop alloys and getting the 7 spokes that i spent 1.5 hours detailing my car. look closer. #### rain clouds. it started misting when i went to find a spot to take pictures of my car, i drove all over f'n town where rain clouds where directly above. as soon as i got done taking pictures, that big ass cloud ruined my hard work in a matter of seconds

Anyone remember my post about cats on my car about a month ago? I've yet to buy the air rifle, but that's only because i've got better things to spend my money on

Skunks seem to like my car. I keep the car in the garage, and sometimes, I see little paw prints up and down my hood... ceiling... and trunk.

I think they like to sleep on my car cuz it's warm.

I have a cat that sits on only 240's for some reason. AT any given time there are 5 cars in front of my house 2 of them are s14's....the cat will only sit on them. At least it has good taste....but i hate little paw prints.

i feel bad for you guys with the animal problems. i only have two cool birds that live under my car temporarily every day. two finches i think. they're cool though, they don't bomb my car, and they know when it's time to leave when they hear the alarm chirp, then they fly up to our tree. why they favor hanging out under my car rather than a tree like normal birds, i don't know.

We've got a neighborhood cat like that. When it jumps on cars it likes to put out it's claws and slide a stop. So far it's got my dakota my friends f-150 and a bunch of other less important people who don't have the testicular fortitude to do anything about it. We both have air rifles waiting for the little bastard. He was walking through the yard one day but all I had was big noisy guns and we have neighbors that like to find stuff to complain or call the cops about.

I have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM right now! This cat in my neighborhood is always on my car, I have all these small scratches from it and paw marks everywhere right after I get done washing my car....It pretty much sucks...One time I left my moonroof open and the little bastard got in my car, and now it smells like wet cat...I tried scaring it away but that doesn't work, so I'm parking in a differnt part of my driveway now...Eh I want to punt that cat so bad!

My cats walk on my car from time to time, but they only sleep in my moms

Murphys law is this: Ever since I bought my '92 last April it has either rained or snowed within three days of me washing it (save one time in October). This is a particularly interesting phenomenon in a region that averages 12 inches of precip a year, of which 90% falls in the wintertime. If this keeps up, I'mma needa get my official title changed to "Rainmaker"

Why dont you cat problem people say "To #### with the ASPCA" shoot those bastards, bury them in your backyard and tell your neighbors that it must've run away. If the cat that sits on my car didn't BELONG to me (and it doesn't leave claw marks..just footprints)...I'd have shot the fucker a year ago.

Well, I wouldn't shoot to kill, I mean ####, they don't know they're doing something wrong. An air rifle is good though, cuz they'll learn to associate getting hit with BB's every time they go near your yard

lol wouldn't shoot to kill?!?! Ok maybe I spent too much time in the army or maybe I've just disliked cats since I was a kid but either way; I see a cat on my car especially scratching its claws into it and 9 lives or not that will be one dead cat.

we had stray cats living in the woods behind our fraternity house, kept gettin in our dumpster and makin a huge mess, climbin on peoples cars and whatnot, so this one guy decides to take action, for a week straight he put a bowl of milk out for the cats, then one day he mixed in some coolant.........no more cats

one day at work i was workin on the car for a couple hours........as i was putting everything away i watched a bird fly in through the garage door, proceed to take a dump on my hood, only to turn right back around and fly out.......it's like he was watching me

the same cat that sits on my car also ripped out my screen yesterday. He keeps popping out the screen to get out. So i re-screened the window and layed a wire mesh on my window sill, ran a car battery neg. terminal to the mesh and the positive to the screen.
Now we wait........
