Hello everyone I am selling my 89 240sx coupe with an LS1 swap(that is out of a 98 corvette) and a T56 transmission
its registration and insurance is current and tags are good until December 2011
the swap was done a little over a year ago and has ~40k miles on it
it runs great and never overheats or anything, gets around 25mpg on highway
doesnt smoke or burn any oil
starts up every time, has never broken down
the body has 146,390 miles
Clean Title, never been in an accident
interior is in good condition with manual windows, locks, and mirrors
has an UNCRACKED DASH!!
non sunroof model
the sliding seatbelts still work, but the passenger one acts funny sometimes
all interior and exterior lights work and function fine
you cant find another 89 240sx coupe in this condition with original paint

T-56 6-speed Transmission (thats out of an 02 camaro ss)
shifts smooth, no grinds or whining noises
custom 3.25" exhaust into a Y-pipe with Flowmaster 40 series muffler at the end (sounds mean and throaty)
Hurst shifter
Ksport Coilovers
welded diff
rolled fenders
pignose front lip(not in the pics but its in brand new condition)
Sportmaxx 962's 18x8.5" front....18x9.5" rear powdercoated black
CX Racing radiator
Kenwood deck with auxillary input for ipod
the not so goods:
When the swap was done, the tach and speedometer weren't wired up
but the speedometer does still light up(its the digital display).
the clearcoat is fading off the bumpers(like all 240's with original paint)
a few small door dings here and there
the drivers seat has the usual rip on the bolster
pop ups are stuck in the up position, probably just the relay(you can still adjust them by hand)
has new tires on the rear
There has been tons of interest in the car but nobody has shown up with cash yet
Ok so the reasons im selling my car are 1.that i want the money so i can buy my friends car haha. and 2. cops where i live are ridiculous, they would just love to write me a ref ticket..... I barely drive the car twice a month because im afraid to get pulled over by one of those pigs, and because the welded diff eats up tires really quick so i cant afford to just keep throwing tires on it. right now its registered and insured with current tags so there aren't any sort of DMV fees or any bs like that. i can even help you get it registered and everything once you buy it. Im 18 years old, i work at a crappy part time job, and im in college, so i could use the money, but this doesnt mean you can lowball the hell outta me. this car was built totally legit and i have alot of money into it. its crazy fast and always gets tons of attention wherever i go. its been totally babied while its been with me and as i said before i rarely drive it. its ONLY been ran on chevron 91 octane and has mobil1 full synthetic. im losing money on it but im looking to get $9000 or best offer, which is really cheap for a clean 240 with an LS1 with low mileage. you can contact me at: (805)6807653 call or text, if i dont answer it means im probably at work or in class but ill get back to you asap. or you can pm on here, or email me at [email protected] for the quickest response call or text me. thanks for reading. oh and i live about 2 and a half hours north of LA along the 101. *by the way the coolant overflow has a cap on it now but it doesn't in the pics*
