height and dampening adj on coilovers

if u had to choose which one... what would u guys pick and why?... and for the ppl who have coilovers how often do u guys adj your height or dampening....
im also wondering if n/e one has ever came across old style JIC coilovers... they have black springs with a silver housing

height: i adjust mine maybe 1 time a month sometimes more sometimes less. depends on the car's setup and track

I adjust dampening like once a week, and MANY times at the track to try and find the perfect combo. Ride height I change about once a month. I would never have one over the other, I would ALWAYS buy a setup w/ both. What the point of having a coilover suspension w/out ride height adjustability AND dampening adjustability? I think they go hand in hand.

I don't think I've ever seen a set of coilovers that wasn't ride height adjustable.

..I've changes the ride height like 3 times ever. Dampening, I change several times in one track weekend, and any time I want to do some spirited cornering. otherwise they are always on full soft.

I'd make sure they were valved properly (read: matched to springs and relatively stiff) in the first place... and just get height-adjustable coilovers. The look is more important to me than the marginal benefit that I receive from the dampening adjustability! I'm not a total track whore (yet) so for now dampening comes second. :D My blatantly rice side.
