I just wanted to know about the the JUN and Tomei SR engines. So far I have not seen anything on the JUN motor's specs. I heard they are out there. They cost a shit load of money. But still what is there a advantage to having one of those engines. Can they handle allot more boost what HP level they come with? I thought I ask about these SRs because no ever seems to talk about them. Any web sites for that stuff. Also are they race only engines.
What the heck is a non fujitsu silvia

non's car is basically a show car with a (i think) $13,000 Jun SR (Or was it a Tomei?? baaah) It looks pretty spiffy. His turbo KA was better tho <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>
The JUN engines can definitely handle more power than they come with, although so can a stock engine. Basically, the JUN engines are built with as many JUN products as you can think of, and balanced and blue-printed to JUN's specs.

If you did not know, here was an article about Non Fujita's 240sx to S14 conversion.

the tomei engines:
2.1L 350hp, some massive number for torque, costs $10k USD
2.2L 380hp, runs stupid massive torque number, costs
$15k USD? I dunno. it costs about $20k CDN.
The tomei motor is built w/ tomei stuff.
it's also a brand new engine right?
anyone know if the engine comes with a tranny?

How can you get these engines in the states? Does anyone import them.

Both the Tomei and Jun engine requires you to supply a core engine or else they will tag you with an additional $2k for core charge.
The TSR350 that Non has is a $12k motor. The TSR380 is closer to $15k.
Jun's SR is about $20k.
Personally, I would rather spend the money to get the Tomei TSR380. Nice setup. Trick piston design that allows the oil from the oil jet to get into an internal groove and swirl around for added piston cooling, much like the 2JZ-GTE and VG30DETT pistons. (I have a nice Tomei catalog...)

there's a distributor in California that brings in the Tomei motors.
being in Canada, we don't have strict emissions laws... the TSR380 is something i'd like to get too.

I thought Non never turboed the KA...I thought he just ended up swapping it out? The issue of Super Street his car was first in I remember he just had the regular 'ol KA in there...####, I loved that color...Like a Mocha Brown or somethin'...
