yup as far as i know theyre not all that good. I have a friend with an evo and he has already sent back the front right coilover to get replaced. why dont you go for the powered by max set im sure theyre better and cost less than the ksports

Ksports are 1500+
powered by max are 1500 for the pro system and 1000 for the competion set
POWERED BY MAX: (http://www.gtfactory.jp/cms/page.php?9)
i hear nothing but good things about powered by max and after seeing my friend having to deal with replacing the coilover again and again i'd go with something else

I got the K-Sports I had brand new for $760 shipped (I think) from Intense Power back in 2009. I never had a single issue with them, aside from always getting crap for having K-Sports, lol. The fronts went lower than both Fortune Auto and D-Max coilovers I had without removing collars on any of them. This is most likely determined by the spring height anyway, but just something to note.
For the money, I honestly don't think you can really go wrong. Sure, it would be cooler to save up and get something nicer, but I have owned three sets of K-Sport coilovers on three different cars and never had a problem with them. To simply go low on a cheap 240 that will mostly see street duty, I think they are fine for the money.
Obviously not amazing or nice by any means, but they get the job done if you are on a budget or just want to go low.
ive had ksports since 2006 no issues at all. daily driving and drifting.

Its all relative. There are a thousand opinions on every brand of coilovers. The majority of people that form these opinions have zero actual experience running said brand. Or if they do, they usually havent run anything else to compare them to.
It mainly comes down to your budget. Figure out what you want to spend, and go from there.

Yeah. I agree,
just dont buy K-Sports. Ive had them on two different brand cars and the REALLY suck...

I have had ksports for about three years, and i havent had a single issue at all. They are not as expensive as some brands and they go low as CamryOnBronze said.

I love Powered By Max and all, but for the price of their Pro's, I'd rather put a bit more money in and buy Stance XR.

As one of their largest dealers and having a ton of experience with different brands of coilovers.. I would say for the price you pay they are good enough for street and mild to moderate drifting.
This guy is also asking about the slide kontrols which are completely different than the regular kontrol pro model which people are saying (suck). These have a monotube shock, reinforced internals and a helper spring in back.
Ive had these on my 240 for 5 years and still havent blown a shock. If you install them correctly and adjust the ride height by the lower mount and not just spin the spring perches down (cauing bounciness, compressed shock all the time) you will have a good stiff ride.
I'd be happy to answer anyones questions.. also they were redesigned about 2 years ago with thicker front shock bodies, black coated more rust resistant shock bodies and urethane rubber pillowball mounts up front.
Thanks -Evan RCI

I had K-Sports on my S14 as well as my SC. I would not buy again.
My SC coils ATE through the top mounts due to a bushing failure. When I contacted K-sport direct they would not replace them because they said "the struts should not see load."
That scared me enough not to use them if they honestly believe that.

^lol
well, as a few positive 'reviews' above show it is intended for a crowd that considers spending a thousand bucks just to 'slam' their vehicle 'low' and that's all they really care about

spend your money wisely and on something that actually works. $1500 for this crap? you gotta be kidding. for that price stance and fortune auto blows them away.

I would suggest Fortune Auto. But I have friends that have K-Sports and have 0 problems with them except for the lack of street cred.
