Ok, check this out. I ordered a nikon camera body sold as in "MINT" condition, and got it with missing pieces, bent parts, etc. I asked for a refund and gave neutral feedback. This is what I get from him:
This Buyer is a ****WASTE of TIME**** Gave REFUND wanted more!!!!!
Can you believe the nerve of some people?!?! UGH! now I have to get the comment removed through squaretrade which is going to cost money... God damnit...

Ebay won't remove negative feedback unless they're asked to by a mediator like squaretrade. I've filed a complaint, and I should hear back soon.
I'm sure i'll win, it's just a pain, u know?
i better get my refund from the guy i ordered from, when i do , thats it for ebay... im sick of it
Ebay sucks. If you buy anything from it, you are asking to get ripped off. It is mostly a bunch of white trash dirtbags trying to make a buck off the shit they couldnt dump at a swapmeet. I know plenty of people selling things that are stolen, broken, or they have a friend make fake bids to raise the price. Dont waste your time, buy from legit sources.

I disagree, I think a lot of people on ebay are really good. I for instance am going to be selling a camera body and a lens that are in perfect working order. Why? Because the comission costs are so low, and it reaches a lot of people.
It's unfortunate that you get people like the guy I'm dealing with now on there, but it's going to happen with something that big no matter what you do.

Ebay is an awful place to go for used shit...Everything ive sold on there, ive had a friend raise the bid on. The only time i'd recommend buying there is when it's companys selling, like procarparts.com sells all their crap on there, and sometimes you can get it cheaper than what it is on their site.

Well yeah, they gave me a refund, but of course i'm going to leave at least neutral feedback. The guy totally lied about the auction, u know? I SHOULD have left negative feedback.
misnomer

I've had good luck with ebay. Everything I've purchased has pretty much been exactly what the seller said it was. Used bike, decent price and decent shape (he even paid for half the shipping and included a chain breaking tool). New (used) sunroof for yonder s13. Other stuff. I'm sure I'll get burned one of these days, and as a result ruthlessly attack the sellers emailbox. Always check feedback before you bid, and email them beforehand. K, bye.
i e-mailed safeharbor about the dude thats got me bent over, i hope i get my money back, i sent him $225 canadian express post... i need that friggin cash...

Check out houser_family_store 's feedback. I bidded on some rims from him- get this 17" konig verdicts, with kumho tires, shipped, for $610 bucks. I never sent the money, cuz i knew he was a scammer. Others sent tons of money, on things from dvd players, rims, etc etc...and they all didnt get shit back. Now ebay is trying to cover it up. The stupidest thing out of all this though is, some would leave neutral feedback, saying they sent money and never recieved a product. WTF how worse can it get??
