what car can i get a gasket of this type from? (exhuast manifold --> turbo)

it's stock SR T-25 turbo, and that gasket is gone.

also, if i was to make a new gasket for that part, what material should i use, keep in mind that it is extremely hot! there!!

Hey man, best bet is to hit up a local nissan Dealership...don't waste your time.

I just went throught this mess. The only Nissan dealer in the northeast with that gasket was in Long Island. And the only turbo shop was about 1.5 hrs from me.

Advanced Auto Parts told me dealer, FAP told me special order from Cali...

I checked with GM, Mitsu, and Chrysler dealers. None of them had the T-25 gasket. Supposedly a 1995-1996 Eagle talon TSI and a most second gen. Elcipses used T-25's. The only dealership willing to give me a hand was Constitution Mitsu in Lawrence, MA - the parts dude searched and he could only find 3 different gaskets in his fische. He had two in stock and neither of them fit...

I just ended up reusing my old gasket. It was a 2 month old copper gasket out of a stock sr20det gasket kit. So far, so good...

If anyone has better info, I'd love to know. A fel-pro # would kick arse.

i replaced mine w/ a HKS metal version (t25) of that gasket, they sell them for 300zx TT. Any HKs dealer can look up the part # and order the gasket for u.

Also i'd recomend changing ur exhaust manifold gasket since ur going to have or have already removed the exhaust manifold. jspec.com, heavy throttle, phase2 all carry replacements or upgrade gaskets.

yep, THIS is why you take your time when doing a "motor swap" ...

hey old_s13, could you get me the dimensions of the gasket?

i think it's 2.5" by 3.5". but i might be wrong.

i'm trying to make gaskets out of sheet metal, but idon't want to remove the turbo before i do it.
