Lets let some others try to figure it out. I will disclose the answer pretty soon. It is a math thing and close attention to detail...but it is freaky nevertheless. I like magic tricks. It is too bad that disclosing them...ruins them..

PS, it should work every time. if it does not, then your addition or subtraction is faulty...or maybe you are not concentrating on the symbol enough! :coolugh:

this has been posted b4 with an explanation. But I think it has something to do with the amount of combinations that the number comes out to, because there are a few #'s with the same symbol.

Look at the number 9, it will be your symbol. All math in the equasion is a muliple of 9 if you do it true.

Symbol changes to the 9th symbol.
