The car is in excellent condition. I purchased it two years ago with 174,xxx miles on the odometer. I swapped in the b16a shortly thereafter and drove the car about a year and a half. I have recently rebuilt the motor and it now has approximately 25km on it. There are just a few minor dings on the exterior, and no rattles or squeaks on the inside. The car has been maintained very well, and I haven’t had any service issues since I bought the car. The only reason for selling is to move on to a new rear wheel drive project, and see just how green the grass is on the other side.
FYI: about two weeks ago I did a compression test. The results were basically 210psi across the board. The first cylinder we tested was cranked longer, so it bumped up to 214psi, but the other three were dead on 210 after 5-6 cranks.
FYI: we also performed a leakdown test. As soon as the piston hit top dead center, the needle pegged the gauge. So basically it was the best possible leakdown reading available, or perfect.
I also have a lot of stock parts…. like stock seats, steering wheel, stock painted wing, stock 13” steelies, gauge cluster, SI armrest, stock hand brake cover, mirrors, etc.
I am entertaining offers around 10k obo. I am not in a hurry to sell, as this car is my every-few-days-daily-driver. Anyhow, serious inquiries only, and the VIN number will be available for those interested parties. Will ship at buyer’s expense, but obviously local buyers in the VA area would be preferred.
***I am entertaining trades ONLY if they consist of a Nissan 240sx of some kind. All models and years would be considered and 5spd is preferred. Depending on the condition of the car, and if it has been modified will determine the level of cash to go along with the trade.***
You can email me with any questions. Thanks.
