**if u don't like reading here's the basics: car idles rough, motor shakes, burning oil, sounds cam'd to hell, over heating** Ok so did this b4 I took off the road too buttt....here goes. Just started it up today after about 3 months of bein off the road. I jumped it and started it and hooked my electric fan up to the battery just for cooling purposes. So, it used to idle bout 1k consistently and never went above midway on the temp gauge. Today it was idling a bit above midway and dropped down to bout 600rpms. I do have an exhaust leak, but the whole motor shakes and the mounts are good cuz the whole damn car shakes too. It sounds like I'm cam'd to hell. So I took it out on the highway I live on and took it easy to the first u turn and seemed to still shake the whole time. Then got on it about 90% thru the first 3 gears, (chirped into all! :D) and I got into fourth and I was already over heated. Also burning oil. I'm thinking just a tune up. Change oil, flush coolant system and new spark plugs. But idk if that will fix my problem. Please let me know anything you have. Thanks.

pull each plug wire off one at a time while running and see which one causes no change in idle, this will isolate the cylinder (as it sounds like you are running on 3 cylinders) then given you are overheating and exhaust smoke, I'd do a compression test, as it sounds like you have a blown headgasket, which is more involved than a tuneup (and dont just poor in that headgasket liquid stuff from autozone, it doesnt work) it may also be a fuel injector that is stuck open or closed which would mean replacement, or if you are lucky maybe a sparkplug

Honestly, I went back out and kept charging it n started up an hour later it seemed fine so took it down the road n took it easy n with no fan on it never went over midway. So then took it a step further n started sliding around my u turns out front and bitch took it. Pull back in and let it idle (waiting for something to act up) n nothing. No more smoke either. I think I freaked out too fast. But I'll still do the compression test sooner or later.
