View Full Version : WTB: Vacuum Hose Fitting Barb? for Greddy Intake Manifold

anyone know where i can buy a plastic vacuum hose fitting for the extra ports provided in the Greddy intake manifold? I have my MAP and Fuel Teed on the intake manifold and i noticed i have extra ports that are unused so i wanna add another fitting under there. I need the side/thread and if you know somewhere that sells the plastic ones instead of the copper ones id appreciate it.

looks like this but plastic.

I picked some up at ace hardware. They sell them in their bolt section.

plastic ones? do you know what size im looking for? i dont know what all the NPT stuff is. i want the same thread as the gredddy manifold.

Mcfadden Dale industrial hardware in anaheim has your solution. Yo, dont use plastic. Take your current plug with you as sample for thread size

Plastic, I believe it was 3/8.

The plugs under the manifold are 1/8" NPT

The ones in the back are 3/8" NPT like said above

FUck plastic fittings, get brass.

Yea ,that will work. But depending on how many of the ports you intend to use ,I think 90 degree fittings will look cleaner.

Yes, you can get that same hosebarb for under a dollar at Homedepot too.

what are the sizes of the two ports in the front, right behind the throttle body? sorry was searching and this is the closest I found.
