It all depends on what kind of car you are building. Are you building a street or track car? If it's a street car I would go with Nismo, if it's more track oriented then poly is the way to go. Let me explain. Nismo bushing are still rubber bushings, about 30% stiffer than stock I believe. Poly bushings are much stiffer than the Nismo bushings so they will offer better performance on the track but ride quality will go to crap. Nismo bushings are kind of a median between poly bushings and stock bushings. They will take alot of the slop out of your suspension, but keep ride quality bearable. Poly bushings will make your car's suspension tighter than the olsen twins but you will feel every bump, crack, and pebble in the road. It's really a matter of deciding how much comfort you want to give up for performance. What kind of coilovers do you want?

OT, I know, but don't say sheet like that. Some of us are old enough to remember when they were on TV before they could walk, tag-teaming it to play an infant. I've only recently been able to think impure thoughts about Christina Ricci and Natalie Portman, and you have to go and say that. Damn.
BTW, I got my new-to-me rear arms (all of 'em) yesterday. Now I just have to finish collecting the poly bushings so I can press them in and swap out my 10-year-old original arms and bushings.

Why didn't you just buy the arms from PDM w/ poly bushings already installed? Would have saved ya alot of time.

'Cause I got the arms dirt cheap, I've already got the RUCA bushings, and I have access to a press. I don't mind some extra work to save money.

Honestly i can tell you from experience that poly bushing dont decrease ride quality IMO. I have whiteline poly bushings for every arm/rod they offer. One of my tension rod bushings was cracked, i replaced it with poly and if anything the ride got smoother. But still compared to when the tension bushing was still good, ride quality seems fairly unaffected. Then again i also didnt notice a big difference in ride quality when i scraped off all sound deadening tar and ripped out the carpets. All the same to me. If you're asking about performance bushings i'd assume you are performance oriented and tell you to go with the polyurethane.
