s14 vs. s13

what advantages does the s14 have over the s13? well the 240sx's, usdm
well i mean the 95's-98's vs the older ones. you know what i mean. just wondering. sorry if this has been brought up before.

it has been brought up before, but for the most part doing a general search on Google should answer your questions.


Power ratings stayed the same, although the S14 has a lower red line and less aggressive cams to match.
Dimension wise, the S14 is shorter with a longer wheelbase, and is also slightly wider.
Weight wise, s13 weighs slightly less, although it's been argued by a few people I know that the difference can easily be made up in 95-96 S14's.

the S14's chassis is also stiffer, especially MCS14's.

S14's are also harder to replace "if" you crash......and it's bound to happen. I slid my car off the road and into the dirt going about 40mph last night.......I'd hate to do that to an S14.

I think they drive really nice, and are more comfortable.

I'd own one if I "could".....

Ummmm.... are you sure its bound to happen? I see a lot of S14's that havn't been crashed. But then again, 200 years from now, every S14 very may well have been crashed at one point. :rolleyes:

i'm glad i bought an S14 instead of an S13. not to say that i would not like an S13, i'll eventually own one or two of them as well. i just like my S14 a lot.

I've had both. Frist car was an S14, now I have an S13. Only thing I've noticed, is that the S14 has a little more body roll, and the S13 seems to be a little bit faster.
