Picked these up from Jspec a couple weeks ago. Thanks Sam.
http://www.jspec.com/s14koukiwide.html
Test fitted and took pics last night.
real ABROAD 180sx wide front fenders. 25mm (or was it 20mm for 180sx?, i forget) wider with a single vent
quality...wow really really great. has holes already drilled with the exception of 3 holes (one of which i never use anyways) and everything else..fit like a glove.
my bumper is tweaked due to crashing into stuff but other then that, fitment overall was excellent. :) i didnt push it too hard to put them on because i didnt want to bolt them in and all but all the holes lined up perfect and when i really put them on next time, the bumper will be off.
OVERALL:
very very very pleased. but wont go on till the new wheels arrive and car gets painted. should be hotness w/ the OEM kouki bumper and lip :) im also pulling out my rear fenders about 10mm or so (give or take) so should be real nice. match it up well. i hope. :)

fitment/holes etc:
you can see it has the 3 holes for the door side. excellent. fit was perfect. no problems.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid81/pe7ebc8c17b23c50bdf70a0871bf24ab1/faff8851.jpg
my bumper is tweaked but when you actually thread the bolts in, it pulls the fender flush w/ the bumper (w/ stock fender) i didnt feel like bolting it in (near sunset)
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid81/p1bae20434daa505a12217c0cd44924b4/faff8846.jpg
need a hole drilled here, but i dont like bolting this point in so i never need to drill. i dont bolt my stock on in too. makes fender removal MUCH easier w/o it.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid81/p1bcdb05e7b4d8a1980d08b2da61c389c/faff883d.jpg
ill have to drill the 2 holes here..easy to do
this is lowest rear fender point
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid81/pbdba8b72f3850dc0a920a739f2c03f56/faff8826.jpg
holes already drilled at top (under hood area) from ABROAD, no need for modification fitment a-ok

No, you don't want a kouki front bumper. Get a s13... or maybe a s15 front. Hell, go custom and do an integra front.
jk, kouki = the greatest front... ever... Hopefully it won't get as played out as others, but whatever.
That looks hot dousan. How does it look with the front wider and the rear stock? Can I get a rear pic to see (I can't check imagestation at the moment, I forgot my password).
Can't wait to see them with those Tenzo's. ;)

you gonna run spacers on those wheels? if not they'll obviously fit quite easily. Run a 20mm spacer! haha that'd be pretty crazy.
Those damn walls, they'll get cha every time.

well, I dunno if anyone has been here long enough to remember (or care) of what I promised myself I'd do just over a year ago. My goal was a SR powered 240 with a s15 front. Something that at the time was NOT played out.
At this point, it's more about finished what I said I'd do w/o compromising. More of a personal goal than a style preference.

looks great. how much did you get them for? i thought you didn't like the vented fenders. i guess personal preferences change over time..

Watch out for flying lightpoles w/ those fenders!
Yoshi, does your car still look like it does in your sig?
I think you have a wheel-gap problem that needs to be fixed....

Dousan_PG
09-25-2003, 12:25 AM
bill, that looks horrible. sorry, i HOPE that's not your car!!
rears can be pulled easily
wide front stock rear? no idea. i wont know either :p
the vents, ya i used to not like it too, but now..i dig it. i jsut dont like the double vented, i dont think i can ever get into those. just look tacky i think

We pulled the rears on Nagra's car (stock fronts) and it looked hot. It would look a lot better with pulled fronts or wide fenders for sure though. But about 8mm give or take on Nagras car looks really good. Can do more too, so 10mm no problem, maybe even 15mm (cough cough Aaron)Damn does this mean I have to go to Sam and get these too? Ah. Probably not for a while... who knows.

looking "Clean"! lol :coolugh:
I think the vent makes the whole thing blend a bit better where the fender meets the door.
Being white, you can actually see it flare out a bit where it meets the bumper on the lower part. pretty cool.
you could get the rear over fenders, and just rivet them on like that silver and blue Falken s13 I saw in the d1gp pics... :)

Hypersh1ft240,
this is why my car is as high as it is.
http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36761
I have my coilovers at their highest setting, and it's still not high enough. Where I live, you have to have a rally car or a truck, or you're gonna high-center on something.

Very nice stuff!! I may have to get some too, hehehe. But hey I think we pulled mine more than both those cars! And we can still do it more. It does look CRAZY though. Hope you really perfect it. I want that look as well. Especially when I put on my spinners... Don't want the fender to hit my LED lights when I am drifting at night in a crowded mall parking lot.

ny_jee ya we gotta do yours
im trying to find some front fender for ya too, i still regret that.d'ooooh

09-25-2003, 12:46 PM
No need to regret, you dont' learn if you never failed. And no need to find front fenders, I am thinking bout some wide fenders. I am thinking of jumping on that group buy on Kazama tie rod ends... Then I can finally put in my JIC tie rods!
BTW, your new fenders look nice, I was wondering when you were going to post some pix.

Okay here are some pics of the rear fender rolling. I think it looks like the HOTTNESS, however Aaron wants to perfect it further! Note the fronts are NOT rolled. I am geussing this setup yeilded about 10mm more clearance. Also the wheels on the back are 15x7 +0 offset, and with no camber this size and offset wheel sticks out past the fenders a good 3-4 mm. Now I have -1.5 deg of camber in rear, and they are tucked WAY in there. They would easily clear even with no camber thanks to the crazy pull/roll. GOOD JOB AARON!!!:D

damn that looks hot, who did that?
hahahahaha
what a weak offset of a wheel :p
time for neg offsets on 8" wheels. hehe..
still can be a perfected roll job.
thx for the pics
