JDM kouki S14 rear bumper

Tried to search but my searches kept timing out.

Anyway, my question. Is it pretty much normal for the clips on the upper portion of the JDM kouki s14 rear bumper to not line up with any holes on the metal brackets below the tail lights and center garnish. My cars a 1997 Kouki S14 SE.

if you're taking about the license plate light, it lines up and bolts fine
if you're talking about the license plate, no, you'll have to get creative to mount it

you're taking about the clips on the metal retainer... I think
no, a few will line up, most won't
you can re-drill if you want to or do what most of us do: don't bother
