brake booster working when unplugged

hey guys for some off reason my brake booster only works when the vaccum line that runs to it is disconnected then when i go to connect it the brakes dont work. this is on 93 s13 coupe with a dohc ka i mean i replaced the brake master with my buddys that works as well as his brake booster i dont know what to do anymore.

Is the checkvalve in the correct position? Might have it in backwards? Not familiar with these brakeboosters, nor their check valves, but this seems like it may be the case.

im gonna flip it and see if this fixes it im really stummped if this does not fix the issue dude :(

i just flipped the check valve and brakes had pressure but still did not stop at all.
