Before anyone says anything, i did search.

Anyways, this might seem kinda off topic but i have a problem with my new stock replacement radiator. It seems that the coolant doesnt circulate through the whole thing, IE. i have 2 e-fans and the passenger side fan pulls nice hot air off the radiator but the drivers side fan (being the side opposite the in and out hoses) blows cold all the time. You might say this is the design of the radiator but with my original stock one, both fans always blew hot air. My cooling is ok but not nearly what it was with the original radiator. Someone please help explain why the efficiency of this new radiator is ****!

Sounds to me that the new radiator is so effective , it is actually cooling the water so much that the water extracted is so cool as to not heat up the output side of the radiator.

If this is the case, this is as good as it gets. Personally, I never experienced that level of cooling myself. In retrospect, the output hose is on the same side as the input so this does not make good sense.

PS, so it the needle higher now? did you change the thermostat? If so, what temp thermostat are you running? Did you replace the radiator cap?

If the unit is not fully flowing and has blockage, get a replacement.

Same prolem when i replaced my stock belt fan with the Altima's.

TOO much cooling!! at first.
The thing is that E fans are extremely efficient when idle, you may need to get a lower temp thermostat, the temp difference was so great that I could touch the lower coolant hose and was cool to the touch everytime!
Even, my temp gauge (and Techtom) was reading higher temps that stock, why? because when the thermostat was opening, the incoming water was so cool that it closes too fast, way too fast.
It took like 1 hour for the whole system to equalize the water temp thru the whole system.
Advice:
Dont run the fan on at all times
Use an adjustable thermo switch for the fan
Get a lower temp thermostat (or use a restrictor plate in place of the thermostat)
Use Watter Wetter with 60 water/40 coolant
Your temp will NEVER get to 180 with this, if you set the thermoswitch right.

Any Qs? feel free to ask

Hmmm, checked my coolant this morning, seems some air got worked out of the system so i topped it off, both fans are blowing hot now so i guess my problem is solved? Thought i had gotten all the air out of the system but i guess not. Thanks for the replies!
