it takes 2 minutes for my stupid replys to be sent... this server needs to be faster or something,, that or i'm just so far away and going through like 500 thousand different bottlenecks to post... it's starting to drive me crazy.. i open like 5 windows just so i can reply to more things at once...

I've noticed that sometimes when I post it takes FOREVER for the server to respond, but if I preview the message and then post it goes really fast...

Its because Ikonboard is ran using CGI which is a resource hog. The main bottleneck is Disk I/O. So once I upgrade the software it should run alot smoother. I already have a seperate server priced out, I just need to get all the Ram and HD's for the site and thats what will cost me alot of $.

I might take a final stab at upgrading the forum tonight, so if everything is down then you will know why.
