Hey everyone, trying to get my track car set up for this year and even after hours of searching I'm left without a definitive answer to a wheel fitment question. Sorry in advance if it is answered somewhere out there, but I couldn't find it.

I'm trying to run a 235/40-17 all around on my S13. I currently can get in on some pretty reasonably priced Enkeis. At the moment I don't want to mess around with fender rolling / pulling, but I will be running some decent negative camber (at least -2) on coilovers. What would be the best size and offset to achieve this? Ideally I'd like to use the RPF1 17x9 +22 on a 235/40 until I get around to doing some fender work and then maybe upgrade to a 255/40? Would I be better off doing that, or doing the RPF1 in 17x8.5 +30?

Any help would be great, thanks... btw, this is just my track car so I don't care about appearance... being slammed, sunken wheels, etc. Just what works best for going fast.

Go for it. It should clear coilovers up front, and 9" is wide enough for future 255s

245's on a 9 is pretty close to a straight sidewall. So with a 235 it would stretch the tire just slightly but it'd be also be better for performance (less sidewall flex). Then later on the 255's would just barely bulge out if at all. 9's would be perfect for you in my opinion
