what the hell. one day, i go out and drive my car up to best buy. i come back out, start her up, and the radio doesn't work. so i'm pissed because now i have to listen to my squeaky brakes and ****ty shocks, and it starts to rain- and i find that my wipers work, but the INTERMITENT wiper setting does not. so i have to flick my wipers on every once in a while, as it's not raining hard.
then, a day later, i start it up and the radio works fine. and interitent wipers are back.
i checked my fuses- nothing. what the HELL?!

Check your relays for water intrusion/corrosion etc. Intermittent problems are da debil!

Check the time control unit. It's one of those little white boxes down near the fuse box. I'm almost positive it controls the intermittent signal for the wipers, don't know if it does anything for the radio, but you could at least start there. There's a bunch of diagnostic stuff in the fsm, it's back in the electical system stuff.

Is it an aftermarket radio?
If so, check the wiring carefully, trace em all and make sure there are no shorts and there is a good ground.
I can't explain it, and that still bugs me, but a friend had a similar problem where the electrical system was acting all strange and replacing the battery and alternator, it turned out the stereo was wired wrong.
