What do you think about this LSD Group Buy?

Limited Slip Differentials: We offer a custom one off 1.5way 50/50 split diff. These are excellent for drifting and performance driving. The only way we can offer a group buy discount is if the member of your community sends us his or her original open-end differential core. With the members' core, we can guarantee that no machining will be required for fitment. If they choose to have us build the differential without supplying the core, there will be a $450.00 core charge added to the price. The turnaround time is 48 to 72 hours from the time we receive the core to time of ship.

$595 doesn't seem like too bad of a price for an easy replacement. I have no LSD experience nor do I know anything about what make them good, IE: 1.5 way ,2 way, viscous, clutch????????????

I am just trying to get some opinions on this.

Id say no consider there isnt crap for details. Email me then see what its all about and let us know. IMO id spend an extra 2-300$ to get a nice unit.

They make crappy Ignition Wires.

yeah i saw there crappy az website, but i just figured they like doing business over the phone. If anyone has heard anything about this please let us know, I will probobly send an email sometime to see what come back.

Those guys need to stick to selling phones if you know what I mean. But seriously, most people daily drive their two-fooooaaaty and couldn't afford to give their open diff because they would have no ride. Not everyone on here is Dousan, having extra pumpkins just lying around like it's halloween and sheeit...I wish I had an extra pumpkin lying around that had cooling fins. Mmmmm mmmm.

oh that
that's because when you buy a lsd w/ pumpkin you dont need your open diff. so you put the open diff in the garage and it sat for nearly a year. or so...maybe more?

open diffs are like 20 bucks used. i tried selling mine for 50 but of course, no bites.

its not hard to get a open diff pumpkin and all, with the number of folks who upgrade to vlsd/lsds

i wish i kept that CA final gear! hahaha..dammit! oh well, ill get another soon

It looks from the pic to be just like the phantom grip LSD's. just a couple pucks they slip in place that act as pressure plates on the spider gears.

IMO, not worth $595 at all considering the Phantom Grip is half that.
