currently does not run
1000 OBO. i have a ka24de that can go with it for the right price.
Trades- let me know what you got im open to anything.
* good 5spd trans and clutch
* rwd
* solid rear axel
* strong running ca20e
* ruffly 95,xxx (see below)
* new plugs
* new oil
* new wires
* new coils
* new exhaust
little about the car. i got it a few months ago cuz i have a soft spot for s12's. its pretty clean for its age. the frame is solid no rust, just some surface here an there. the body is straight aside from a couple small dents. i also put on a new exhaust on it with a megan racing tip
anyways it wouldnt run hardley at all. so i did everything i new to do. the ca20 is an odd motor. has 8 plugs and 20 coils. one set for the intake an one for the exhaust. anyways nothig i tried worked so i took it to S&A where they had it for 2 months. they tell me the ecu has a short in it some where. so i found a trick. and that was to let the ecu hang free off the wiers so i did. and its been working i have been dailying it for 3 weeks now and took it snow drifting and it was just fine.
other then the ecu. the only problems are, the speedo cable fell off the back of the cluster i just used my gps to know how fast i was going. but i dont know eactly how many miles are on it (common problem on these and easy fix)the right side headlight is jamed. the mirror on the driver side the housing is craked. and the rear wheel wells are rusty as well as the left side of the inside of the trunk.
it was running just fine then it quit on me. i got a new/used ecu, new wires again still didnt work. aside the ecu and wires i havent dine anything to it sens S&A worked in it. they did the plugs, oil. im sure its something simple but i cant afford to waste any more money on it.
so some one pick this thing up would be a great project. drift, fun daily or whatever
