ok hows it going? i finally got back into the 240sx game with a nearly mint red 93 coupe and having it no more than a week it got sideswiped in the drivers side. no note or nothing parked in front of my house :bash:. it got the drivers rear quarter and the drivers door an mirror. so i was gonna keep it super clean and mint but since some jack-hole decided to ruin it for me i was wondering if anyone here has done like 30mm wide in rear and nothing up front. pics are helpful. i spent nearly all the money i saved on this car so funds are really limited. and if anyone in md has a set for sale on the cheap let me know. also a red coupe drivers door in really good shape and a drivers black manual mirror would help tons as well

Sucks to hear. But IMO the car will look funny with wide fenders in the rear but not the front.
Maybe just get the rear on now; then save for front too and install them later?

Just make sure you have wheels for widebody.

I plan on running wide fenders in the rear and not the front. I like that stupid look though, but I'm also a fan of the drag racer rake look. I just don't run it on my personal cars.

Concave full face wheels up front, super deep dish wheels out back. Success.

My buddy has a hatch with 30mm in the rear and stock metal fenders in the front.

Its actually pretty subtle, not to out there.
Looks good in my opinion
Ill try and get some pics for you.

I haven't seen it on a coupe, but Ive seen that set up on a hatch and it doesn't look bad at all. Go to our facebook page (link below) because I just posted a pic of one of our guys S13 and you can see what i looks like from that. Its not a great picture, but hopefully you will get the idea.

I believe the Silbeer S13 has wide rears (molded on) with stock fronts.

A lot of people do it. Just run pretty aggressive wheels up front with a decent roll on the stock fenders and it will look fine.

thanks for all the input. just found out i has uninsured motorists coverage with liability so atleast i'll get some money to fix it. unfortunatly it'll total the car so i'll have a salvage title for minor damage but it's whatever. money to fix it is money to fix it i didn't have. are there any better angles of the silbeer car? i like it.

I don't think the silbeer car has stock sized fenders anywhere. rears i thought were all stock metal but pulled and fronts are probably done similarly. His wheel specs are too crazy to fit on stock fenders...

OP: I would just do the over fenders and if you don't initially like it, save up for fronts too.

Ninja edit: don't let the insurance company total your car!

i'll put pics up tomorrow. i think my better half has the camera at the lady gaga concert currently. and is it that big of a deal it have a salvage title? i don't have to give up the car just need money to fix it so they wont give me more than the value of the car. i'm not gonna let them crush it. im keeping it no matter what happens. but yeah tomorrow i'll put up pics.

Just do it. It'll be cheaper than trying to fix the metal. You can get spacers for your wheels.

sorry not for sale. i hope to own it foooorrrreevver. but i just bought it like 2 weeks ago so no sorry not for sale unless you offer something rediculous. like trade for s14. its super clean all original aven has good seats and factory floor mats. sombody really loved this car. it has 190k on it and looks like it could have 20k.

Well, you are both wrong:)

Brendan's car has M Sports 50mm rears and 50mm fronts. His rears are obviously molded in and the fronts have the vents filled like mine.

The wheel specs are not crazy whatsoever, not even close, considering how wide the body is:

Fronts: 18x9.5 +10
Rears: 18x10.5 +12

I'm pretty sure they are not produced anymore. I also think they use the name Wise Sports. Here is a pic to illustrate the 50mm fronts:

thanks for getting the facts straight Broadfield.

op: did you get a quote for a body shop to fix that?

I knew he had wide rears, but couldn't remember if he had stock fronts off the top of my head. Didn't feel like digging since it wasn't exactly important.

ya i took it to the best shop in town and they said 3g's... new quarter and used door but that is defenatly totaled. so i went to the shop at my work... they suck but said they can re-skin the door and try to reshape the rear quarter for 1800 but i afraid to call in the quote cause mine is like the lowest level base model they made so i'm not sure what the insurance company will value it at. i guess i should call. i'll update after i do that.
