I hate making my first post a question on any forum I go to but it's sorta' crucial that I get this dealt with while North Florida is still experiencing coolish temperatures and not blazing heat.

I just bought a '95 240 with an SR20 swap (if it's relevant).. The climate controls and all were working up until yesterday when we pulled a few things out of it when I was buying it.

Now the blower isn't working at all. The only thing that happens with it is when at night, you turn on the lights.. The heat/cool selector slider lights up and the numbers around the fan selector light up -- everything else stays dead. We didn't remove the control box at ALL during the weekend and we didn't (knowingly anyway) unplug anything..

Think a fuse could have blown? I checked every fuse in the car today in an attempt to get it to run.. Anything else I should have a look at?

Any help is greatly appreciated, I don't have ANY defrost or airflow into the car from that fan.

Sooooooooooooooooo...

No ideas I'm taking it? No one has ever heard of the climate control just up and dying?

Sorry bout the double post.. Didn't even know it had happened.

As for want/need.. When we start hitting triple digits here SOON it'll become more of a need than a want.. Not to mention NEEDING the defroster so I'm not fogging up constantly during the rainy season..

Guess I'll tinker with it a little bit.

I'm not quite sure, but I'm having the same probem with my s13 with the blower not working. I haven't spent much time dealing with it cause it hasn't been a factor of my daily driving, but check the relay and the switches that control the blower. I wouldn't say that the blower is seize cause that dont happen over night. But, check the relay, and possibily all the connections

Apparently whoever (company wise anyway) installed the aftermarket alarm system.. They hacked into a bunch of various wiring, be it hot, not, so on and so forth..

Evidently one of the MANY fuses they installed after hacked into said wiring, had blown.. I didn't even know there were fuses THERE, but there were.. Mechanic re-wired a few things and had to recharge the system, couldn't find the leak right off hand so I'm going to hit it with my leak detector sometime this weekend to see if I can find it myself.

Just glad to have a defroster and functioning air again.. Tried to drive for all of 20 minutes or so in a pretty rough downpour today and the glass all around the car got so damn foggy I couldn't see out of it.
