Guess that sound!

I've been watching alot of racing videos lately, and the cars make a weird high pitch sound, kinda like a laser gun sound. It happens when the driver enters a turn. Me and my friends are debating what it was. He believes its the tires and i dont know what the hell is it. Its mainly the silvias that make that noise.
