Just wanted to let everyone know that we have ordered a new server to handle the backend database functions for the site.

Some of you may have experienced brief loss of connectivity to the site at random times when there is a high load and number of users on the site. This is being caused by the database engine having to reset itself under peak loads.

Zilvia.net's member base and traffic continues to grow each month and we are now approaching 6 million pageviews per month.

The server was ordered yesterday and is scheduled to be delivered next week, so we appreciate your continued patience during this transition period.

On a related note, we still have a few 2011 calendars remaining, along with stickers, keychains and lanyards. Zilvia merchandise and Premium Memberships help pay for continued upgrades to Zilvia.net.

Thank you again to everyone for making Zilvia.net a part of your lives.

The Zilvia.net Team

Once we get the new server in place the problem will go away.

We just ask for everyone's patience for the next week or two until we get everything upgraded.
