rockauto if you live in the middle of no where and would rather have items shipped to you than go to the store and buying one that way.

Yea vatozone i believe is lifetime warranty which is REALLY nice. Where do you guys buy your rebuild kits? I google found a bunch crap.
PS. I never rebuilt a rack and the teeth might be crunched. BUT i have another one.
PPS. Found some rebuild kits, i will be looking into it but still would like your opinions. I remember reading that you can get them rebuilt for around 60 - 80 bucks, which sounds like a good deal.

there is a shop here that dose drivelines and racks and stuff.. its cheap to its like 100 for a rebuilt rack..

look for shops like that up in norcal..

just start calling shops that you think might do it, most shops know of other shops that can take care of your needs..

best of luck :)

Trust me i tried calling. Now the cheapest brand new rack i found locally is 271 dollars before tax. now i found this... Discount Auto Parts and Accessories - PartsGeek (http://www.partsgeek.com/pdproducts/DCS/05002231.html?utm_source=pricegrabber&utm_medium=pf&utm_term=26-1866+A1+Cardone+Steering+Rack&utm_content=dcs&utm_campaign=PartsGeek+PriceGrabber)

Does anyone have experiance with these guys? I really hate dealing with online shit, and on top of that will have to wait for my core deposit and ship my old one to them. Any imput?

i spent today calling random places. No one can apparently rebuild a rack in sacramento. I am not sure the site i provided is legit but the prices are half of what they are in general stores. For a reason? I do not know.
I am seriously considering rebuilding my own, the reason i dont want to because there is a good chance i can mess it up, and my hardlines are leaking also, i dont think those come with the kit. Blah
