s13 heat help.

i just installed my new heater hose's for the sr20 and started the car but did feel any heat at idle for about 15 minutes.Do you guys get heat at idel or when you start driving around?

About 15 minutes sounds about normal... Pretty sure Reno climate compared to my climate is about the same. My car seems to take around that long also.

alright so i get some heat but like i should i feel tho i mean some heat is better then freezing my ass off like i was

I don't get any heat until my motor is atleast half way to full operating temp. Until then, it just blows ambient temp air.

The heater uses the radiator fluid passing through the core to heat up.

You need to purge out the air bubbles that got into your cooling system when you replaced the heater hose.

yea man bleed your system seriously that should be automatic anytime you do anything related to the cooling system
