i just don't understand what is going on with my car. everytime i run anything over 9psi or so boost will fall back to 9-10psi at 5000rpm. at first i thought it might be a boost leak. wasn't that. then i thought it might be the wastegate actuator. so i bought an HKS one. wasn't that. so now i am confused. i also checked the blow off valve, played with the switches on the back of the Profec B and nothing helps. its just really frustrating when your car gets slower as you get higher in the rpm. so does anybody have any ideas? could the turbo just be bad?

MInoe did it too, its just that the stock turbo sucks or your boost controller is taking a crap. My profec A and turboxs did the same thing to me.

well i would hope the boost controller isn't taking a crap b/c it started doing this about 3 weeks after i installed my whole setup. well maybe its time for an upgrade. probably gonna go for a big28 next summer anyway. or if money is real good, something bigger.

yeah i'd love to have one of those. so what other parts did you go with in your setup? running PFC? if you don't want to put them up on here hit me up on AIM my SN is feluster2. i'd like to talk about your setup, trying to plan mine out now and an SC61 was kind of on the list if i go t3/t4

anymore thoughts on my question? i really hate my car right now and am having thoughts of selling it and keeping my honda. its just not enjoyable to drive when your car gets slower the higher you rev. its just making me not like it. especially when my friends ITR with just an exhaust is staying right with my car on 12psi. its so slow right now.

if your friend ITR is staying with you at 12 psi ... you have a problem... your engine maybe have a more bigger problem than the turbo... check that out. Did you check the timing and everything .. ? compression blabla

haven't compression tested, but the timing is set right. the car ran a 13.9 with 10psi so maybe his ITR is just faster than me and him think it is. also my 12psi is about 9psi after 5krpm.

Are you still running the stock turbo, the T25? IF so you know that the T25 isn't a ballbearing turbo. The T25 always looses some boost at high RPM's. If you don't have a lot of money, like most of us, to upgrade to a massive turbo like that. Buy a T28, it's ballbearing, and not expensive. Also, it won't cut out on boost.

the t28's require new water and oil lines right? how much do they usually go for? less than $500?
