Ok, heres the question, I recently bought an S13 Red top sr20det for my 1990 240sx but when the compression test was done, it wasnt all that great. So the guy sent me a S14 Blacktop for the price of the S13 redtop. No I bought an S13 intercooler from CxRacing but in the description, it says that this kit wont fit an S14 Sr20det or any other engine except for the S13 sr20det. Is there any way I could make this fit? Or do I return it and get an intercooler kit for an S14 and will it fit my S13 chassis? Thanks guys

cx racing is cheap anyways. you can have different piping made! But for that kit its not worth it! just exchange it.

Exchanging the kit is going to be the cheapest option. Paying someone to fab the pipes is going to be wayy more than return shipping.

i would exchange it if they will do it.
but its not too hard to make it fit..
any shop should be able to do it for cheap.. i think you just need to change the cold pipe a bit.
its up to you though, bolt on is always nice.

the piping is the main problem.. if you have a s13, buy s13 piping

You get the Kit for the engine not the car.

You get the Kit for the engine not the car.
Exactly ^^
yeah because the length and width of the piping are engineered specifically for that engine.
