Hello.
I just came back from seeing this car..
http://photoserver1.trader.ca/autotrader/photos/large/2003/07-25/eot/07-25-03eot84-05.jpeg
1993 Nissan 240sx SE
NEW PRICE, LOW KILOMETERS.
Comment: Auto., only 111,000 km (70,000 Miles). Mint cond., not a scratch! No rust! New tires, 15" alloy rims. Lady driven. E-tested and certified. pl, pw. Oil changed every 5000 km. New brakes. One of the best handling cars. Very smooth ride.
The car was actually pretty mint. Very clean car, no rust no scratches just one by the window when the owner tried to break back into the car. The bumper seem to have been hit from the from since it doesn't line up with the hood but the rest looks pretty min. Power everything and comes with HICAS.
The dude orinally was asking $CA8200, then lowered it to $7900 and I offered him $CA7000 ($US5200).
Would you think the car is worth that much if everything mechanically was good? The engine looked clean and it's saftied and certified.
Thanks

Honestly, I would not pay more than $2k US for an S13. Unless it was already modified. Check www.kbb.com for a push in the right direction.

Price is WAY too high for what it is. Its automatic too, and HICAS in most peoples eyes who spend time on the track dont like it. Don't spend over 3k US on an S13 IMO. Then again the demand is very high or whatever...

i think $3500 would the price for an extreme Mint s13, 5200 is way too much. 5200 would be a nice s13 with a clean installed SR.

Is that guy using Jedi mind tricks on you because there is better to be found out there. Just be patient. For instance, my cousin just bought a 98 integra RS for $5000 that was in mint condition with the same mileage as that car.

Take a look at these clowns inventory at the link..Just do the link to see the dude, (he is funny and on every Sun morning, great entertainment..jumping all over the place he is..) and what they have listed, you can get another 600 to 1000 off. I think they have killer deals and they are right down the road from me.
They sold a 94S-13 with 90K for 2000 bucks...listed it at 4000 so the prices they have can go lower ...quite a bit lower..
Use it as a comparison to what you can get with your money.

Perhaps you are right...that white one does look clean..if you fall in love with her and want her, can afford her, go by fair market value in your area I guess..
I know a guy that paid 2400 for a datsun 510 with rust and no motor..because he wanted one..

well unless you don't like having all the work done already, buy that one, it's at a cheaper price then the white one...problem is it might not have the look you want...or parts....your decision ultimately.

White one looks better looked after. I like a bone stock look, like from the showroom.

Take the blue one if he drops it below $4,000....
If, indeed, 240s are hard to find out there...
