Z32 calipers on S13 still keep 4 lugs!

I am planning to put Z32 4 pistons on my 91 S13...
The thing is I would like just to keep the 4 lugs and don't want to have the rotor redrilled, Anywhere I could get the rotors directly bolt on the car and match the calipers....
What year Z32 has the right size caliper for S13?

You can buy slotted brembo 300zx rotors that are already drilled for $150, from heavy throttle. If it was'nt safe then so many people would'nt be useing them. There may be a 4 lug to 5 lug wheel spacer/ converter, butthen you need new wheels. You might as well just do the 5 lug conversion.

click on the link that says Brake Upgrades, then upgrade kits..they sell either the 26mm or 30mm brake kit...im assuming you dont have the calipers already. If you do just call them and say you want the rotors.

several places sell the Z32 rotors drilled for a 4x144.3 bolt pattern, or you could just buy oem rotors and any machine shop could do it for you.
No need to do the 5 lug swap, all the Z32 calipers (earlier aluminum and later iron) should fit the s13 bolt on, but you will need to swap the brake lines (same for all years) and you are going to need wheels that clear the Z32 brakes.
keep in mind that the different calipers used different rotors (I believe).

You can get Z32 rotors re-drilled for 4x113.4 at tons of places: Heavy Throttle, iRotors, Carbotech, and several more.

When I was preparing for my brake swap early this summer I called what seemed like every machine shop within 30 miles; not one of them said they could re-drill the rotors. I envy you if your local shops do work like this routinely.

As for what year Z has the "right size" caliper for the S13, that depends on the wheels you're running and whether you mind using a spacer. If you intend to keep the stock wheels (assuming 7-spoke SE alloys with only one rib on the back of the spoke) with no spacer, you'll need the 26mm aluminum calipers, which only came on 1990 NA Z32s. Anything else will depend on the design of the spokes and the offset.

I haven't seen it, but maybe someone has taken the measurements and made templates to allow you to test-fit your wheels to the calipers. Baer Brakes has a printable template for their kits on their website; something like that for Z calipers would be handy for a lot of us.

help u guys out the bolt pattern is 4x114.3....yeah I was also having a hard time finding a shop in hawaii that would redrill rotors.....heavythrottle gotta love em good luck and take ur time to do it right without rushing then buying the wrong ****

yeah I think we know the bolt pattern, I know mine was a type and it looks like the one below me was too.
I was laughing as I read that, hoped the next guy corrected me, then saw he missed it to.
Oh well at least its straight now. Anyway the machine shops near here will do anything I ask them do, things that other machine shops keep telling people they "can't" do. They pressed my tc rod bushings, they drilled out stuck bolts, they redrill rotors, they resurface flywheels..
I wonder WTF the machine shops by you guys actually do, since most of the ones near me get almost all their business from automotive stuff.

i think the point some of you are missing is that he wants 4 lug 300zx rotors. he mentioned he didn't want to have the rotor redrilled. well, that could mean he doesn't want to do that himself, in which case, ppl have already mentioned where you can get those. i remember reading somewhere that someone (i believe it was powerslot but i'm not sure on that one) was going to make 4 lug 300zx rotors. NOT redrilled, just straight 4 lug. but i haven't heard of anything since, so it could've been just a rumor.

As for natively 4-bolt Z rotors, the only thing I've seen like that was an announcement that Rotora was gonna have an option for 4-bolt on their 300ZX big brake kit. That's pretty easy for them since, IIRC, their setup uses a 2-piece rotor with a bolt-on hat.

if you buy 40 rotors from brembo usa , they will build them any way you want. just give them the specs. maybe some one can get a group buy together
