Got my sr swap done and running. Went to start it again and it just cranks. Thought it was cas so replaced it and still just cranks. Replaced ignitor chip and still just turning over. Think maybe the solid motor mounts knocked a ground loose. Which ground on the car can cause this? Timing is set right and fuel pump primes. Nothing changed and it won't start still. It has to be a ground from everything I've seen so is there a diagram I can look at for grounds on an s14 sr or can someone please tell me

fuel is priming so it's most likely not getting spark. a loose or bad ground will cause this.

Yea that's good to it just has to be something small like a ground I was thinking I mean it ran and nothing changed but went to start it again and just cranking

Is there a relay that could cause it and if there is what why would it go bad all of a sudden like that?

Finishes my swap, replaced the MAF, CAS, ignitor, spark plugs, coils, coil
Harness, next thing I try is the ecu. Mine turna over, but won't start and I have fuel and spark and the fuel pump primes everytime so if you figure yours out let me know.

If you have spark and fuel, then its timing. What's your compression for each cylinder?

timing was correct it was a bad ground on the back of the head

By any chance did you change your oil? if yes maybe you touched ground to the alternator???? create a spark and its toast. check the 75w or amp whatever it is. in the fuse box the grey one with the clear top. if it's broken then there you go. its all i could think of.
kinda weird but just throwing it out there. good luck!

i had a very similar problem with mine.
turned out to be the timing was off.
i had to put the marking on the crank on the *First marking to the left* instead of the Second marking for *Top Dead Center*.
-5,0,5,10,15,20
i had to put mine at -5
now it runs good!
Hope this helps someone!
