I have a s14 and i'm trying to guide the engine harness out the firewall so i can inspect it because my cel is on. a friend of mine was helping me put an amp wire through the firewall and when i wasnt looking he jammed a screw driver through the engine harness grommet to put the wire through and im thinking he damaged some wires... i was wondering if it would make it easier to remove the harness if the blower motor under the glove box was out. There isnt much room to maneuver the wires around. I took a look at the fsm but cant find anything.

just pull the glove box, heater core coveer thing and the blower motor. then you will have all the room you will need

Disconnect the ECu and other plugs, and it will slide out without issue. lay down on your back and it will all come out.
