NorCal Elk Grove Park Meet!!! (02/19/11)

Well its starting to warm up, and presidents day weekend is comming up!

Lets all get together for some BBQ and maybe meet some new folks. This meet is open to any and all cars, so feel free to come out with anything! :)

Meet will be on : 02/19/11 and start at 12PM

That link should show the exact location inside the park. There are gazebos there and public BBQ's that are there so we can chill in the shade, cook, eat, have some brews, whatevar!

Please let me know what you will be bringing for food as we will need meat, drinks, plates, condiments, cups, sweets, stuff for the BBQ like utensiles and coals etc.

Please keep all drifting, burn outs, and any obnoxious crap at home! Lets make this a fun and eventfull day without drama :D

As for the Speed bumps there is none as long as you enter in from the East Stockton side.

Yea i just talked to Carlos (im sure he is one of the people on your "list") he said he is for sure coming.

Try to gather a list of what everyone is going to bring so we can get organized and have this as an open "pot luck"

I have had some interest, som 510's/Datsuns, maximas, 240's, and a few 350z guys...Looks like its going to be a good turn out

and as for the weather it looks promising! i think we got lucky, the forcast states SUNNY - SAT & SUN!!

yea I just wana get something kinda organized and don't really wana be the Asshole saying who cam eat and who can't...it would be nice if people just brought anything! That way we have something...I think I have burger meat and buns taken care of tho..could always use more tho! No hot dogs as of yet...

Chips, soda, plates....all cheap shit people can bring that's affordable and will make me happy haha :)

If there is rain though i'll take the camaro, can't let the engine get soaked in the Lamborghini or bad things happen.

I'll bring something simple either way though for food.

location was legit if you ask me...first time ever set up a meet there..summer time will be a little more work to play with "reservations" on the public gazebo in the summer since they dont take reservations during this time of year.

But i will be posting up another meet once i can c the weather clear up on the forecast, maybe we can get some more S chassis rep! only had 2 S13's show up!! wtf?!

dude i TRY to do the best i can but meh....its hard when people dont post and try to help me out with what they are going to bring and bla bla bla. Luckily this time everyone showed up and it just happened!

I will give a month or so notice and check out reservations in the park once they are available, in the meantime untill SUMMER hits ima just be doing short notice meets :)

Probably sometime in March i will set something up, maybe the middle or early in the month.

As for the Hella Norcal stuff, i duno...would be cool to pick up where wagdatto lefto off but its whatever, a bbq's a bbq lol.
