WTT: 17 X 8" 5 Zigen Typhoons w/Khumos for Smaller, lighter wheelset...
I'm kinda just testing the waters here, but I want to see how it'll go.

I have a set of 5zigen gunmetal typhoon rims, 4 x 114.3 for all 4 lug 240's, 17" x 7.5" front, 17" x 8" rear, both, +35 mm front, + 38mm rear offset. It has Khumo Ecsta 17/45/225's in the front, with about 75% tread, and 17/40/235's in the rear with about 90% tread left. The wheels look AWESOME on an S14...They fill the wheel wells inredibly well and sit as flush with the fenders as possible w/o rubbing or having any clearance issues with stock suspension/brakes. And, they'll clear the 300zx brakes. The rims are in good condition, 2 of them in really nice shape, the other 2 have a fair amount of curb=rash (nothing unsightly), and they are 100% true. Email for pictures (I'll try putting some on my website...)

That's what I have, here is what I want.
A VERY LIGHTWEIGHT set of wheels, 7" width at least, with the LEAST possible amount of wheel offset...I don't care what the aspect ratio of the tires are, although I'd prefer lo pros (40's, but anything up to 50 is fine). Ideally, I'd like 15" x 7.5" w/225's or 16" x7.5" w/225's. The tires need to be in as good as shape as mine, and the wheels should look decent as well. Remember, lightness is the main thing I'm looking for (I need them for autocrossing in the spring...the 5zigens are EXCELLENT street wheels...and look incredibly aggressive on any 240)

Just email me with an offer, pics, and most importantly the weight of one rim/tire w/ air, even if you don't have something that meets the criteria. The stickier the tire, the better...also, I'd pay up to $200 plus my wheelset if the wheels are extra nice...it's not often that someone wants to get rid of wide, extremely aggressive 17" rims for smaller, thinner ones...
Thanks...

I was wondering if you could tell me how you painted your valve color(saw the pics from your site). Looked great on your car, thinking about doing it on mine. Thanks.:)

I got some Kosei Maxi's 15x7, they are about 11 pounds each. Never used, no tires. White in color, +17 offset 4x114.3 perfect for 240. I could give ya some extra cash for yours. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

Ahh..someone offered me kosei's already...if they weren't white I'd take them in a sec--they're beautiful wheels. But I want a fat polished lip...

The valve cover--hmmm..use heavy duty oven cleaner, do it in the sink, scrub it with a wire brush, if you have a bench grinder with a wire wheel attachment, use that, because it works wonders...I also used dremel bits, etc to get all of the old crap off (it really looked bad, as you can see in the pics). For paint I painted them VERY CAREFULLY with high-temp ceramic engine paint (ford blue) that I got at autozone, and it hasn't peeled, etc at all....it withstands 500 degree temp too. I gave it about 5 coats of that...then waited five days, and gave it like 3 or 4 coats of the same ceramic engine paint except in clear (clear coat).
It came out awesome--unfortunately, my car gets worked on a lot, so it's been dirty lately--looks a helluva lot better than stock though.
