Need Advice on ka (95) Transmission swap on my 00 S15 sr20det

have been running a Nismo Coppermix Clutch, Pressure plate and Dual Mass Flywheel in my 6 speed. As everyone knows you cannot use the dual mass flywheel in a S14/KA Transmission so i must purchase the correct parts.

the 5speed from a KA is less brittle. i have destroyed two of them (2000 S15 Transmissions) the Synchros in 2nd and 3rd keep going out.

Time for a 5 speed. I have sourced a 95 KA Transmission and Driveline. What else minus Clutch Flywheel And Pressure plate throwout and release bearings and transmission bolts will i need to make this work ? remember i am matching this all up to a 2000 SR20DET.

i have an extra sr 5-speed bellhousing if you want to buy it

Does the KA not work ? Also you gave me no info on what i would actually need to make the swap happen. Tranny Mount ? wiring ?

The KA trans works but you need a SR bellhousing to mate to that trans. The KA bellhousing does not bolt up to the SR. The Bellhousings are interchangeable.

Thanks bro I read the thread but still wasn't 100% - Is your SR bellhousing a S15, S14 or S13?

The extra bellhousing I have is from a s13 redtop.
