S13 SR20 Swap (motorset) FS

Looking to sell my SR swap, reason being I'm parting my car to help pay for school. Books > driving for now.

Located on the North Side of Chicago, pick-up only!!

Here's the specs on the motor:

S13 SR20DET, in excellent condition
-Redtop block, with newer blacktop head.
-Perfect compression, ~160-164 all across.
-Fresh cosworth 1.8mm head gasket
-New gaskets, seals, spark plugs, pulleys, belts.


Motor is in perfect condition. Assembled to OEM specs.

Transmission, wiring, T28, clutch, are all sold.

For sale is JUST the drop in swap, ready to go- motor is guaranteed in perfect condition, this is just about all I have left from the car I parted out.

(I still have misc fuel lines, accessories from previous SR swaps that I can toss in if you need extra parts).

Swap will come with alternator, belts, resurfaced flywheel, spark plugs, coil packs, stock injectors, turbo manifold, fuel rail, throttle body, factory sensors (02, IACV, TPS, etc etc.), motor mounts, distributor, etc. Starter was sold with transmission.

Note: Valve cover and pulleys are now painted black, paint was chipping. Still have a full can of Duplicolor Metalcast (pictured color of valve cover / water pump pulley) that I'd be more than happy to give to the buyer.

Fyi, I wouldn't call it a "swap" if you are just selling an incomplete motor. A "Swap" implies wiring harness, transmission, ecu, and complete motor.

Also, price?

like it says, it's a drop-in swap.

to make it run you'll need a harness, turbo setup, and transmission.

this is more or less for people who need a new motor.

But seriously, neither of these terms you are tossing around, "motorset" and "drop-in swap", are a correct description of what you are selling here. I'm not trying to crap on your thread, just trying to help out.

Its just a longblock pretty much.. with all accessories on it, making it a swap.

Need cash asap. $1200 picked up. comes with everything on it, except what is mentioned (turbo, trans, harnesss, etc).

its a drop-in swap. i never stated it was a complete swap. but the price sort of confirms that.

Sorry... but using a 1.8 mm headgasket you are claiming to get 160-164, when on a stock headgasket 'good' compression is 155?
