man, your never going to find good info like that on an nissan sr20det forum.your best bet is to do what i did.just go to the evom forum.different platform, but you can still get spool comparissons.from what ive gathered, depending on your power goals, you could go for hta3582 (peaks @700)hands down, the best spool for the power it makes right now.its about 3-400 rpms better the standard 35r but makes more power aswell.so all in all =,its wayy better.also, theres not much solid proof, but, the borg warner efr looks to be handing eveyone there asses in terms of spool and power.preliminary testing has showed the efr8374 destroying the 35r in spool all the while making 700ftlbs of torque !!!!!!!NUTS!!!!they wont be available till march, and they keep pushing the release date back...i have a billet 6262 and will be selling it once they get thier shit together and actually release the damned things.also, once you get into turbos capable of 650hp and up,if your going to daily them at all,you should definately go twin scroll my man.way better drivability.if it is moslty only a drag car, then sray single scroll.good luck!

I have a HTA3586 on my evo 8 standard 2.0 full spool at 4800-4900 you can feel it put you in the seat at around 4500 so i would assume a HTA3582 is like 300 rpm faster spool.

well if you want spool at 3500-3800 get a 50trim or 2871r.
with a larger snail just down shift if you want power, its too easy.
2.2 is expensive if thats what you want to do go for it.

i tell you what man,i had a 30r once and its badass!!thats when you start making real power, but, its also when you step into the world of lag.do you have e85 around you?if you do,you could do a 30r on e85 and spank the shit out of almost anything.also,a 3071r is a really badass turbo.again, put this on e85 on 30psi =500rwhp..justy some options if your worried about lag..

You're pissing in the wind with a stock head
Cams and an Intake are the only way to make real power with a 35r.
In the ideal world, I'd love to see a big plenum, big duration SR make some power...seems like so many people dont bother, or end up blowing their junk up. No reason why a set of HKS 272's/greddy manifold/big boy gas/big boost couldn't make for a solid 550/600 whp brawler.
Then again, I'd get so tired of the 5000 rpm spool.

iam liking the twinscroll 30 but single wastgate or dual wastegate i wana have my ac but they say not ac compatable

if you want power, then no ac lol, no ps, no clutch fan. ac is over rated

HTA3076 will do you good if your actually serious.
I'm sure since he is in Dubai that 98 Oct fuel is readily available. And that's a crapton of power in a Corolla.

Cams yes...stock intake manifold however leads to better spool up.
If I was going to build another SR motor I would use the stock intake manifold with a GT3076R variant, 500 whp at higher boost levels and spool up better than a 2871R with a greddy im on it...
It's a trade off on what you want though. Higher top end outputs or more useable mid range power etc. The goal of any road racer or drifter (or most tuners who value motorsports in general) I would believe would be to get the best of both worlds as much as they can through engineering the build and more importantly the tuning of the ems to get the desired result.

I don't see any of the marginal spool gains being worth the loss in average top end power gain from the bigger turbo. I don't consider the 3000-4500 range even in my range of consideration with a 35r, as it's a slug there...however 5000-8000 would be my focus. A stock manifold on a 3071/76 has been proven to cut out on top end, and really not spool much later than stock. Even on FWD setups, you don't see hardly any measureable 'response/spool' gains to not go with the additional top end plenums.
And if you can make a 3076r outspool a 2871, I'll buy it tomorrow. 4 years later I've yet find a setupt hat can, hence not having it haha. Although it's intereesting to see how these EFR Setup's work out :D ...I mean I'd rather GO LSX, but at this rate I'm way to far into the SR to swap :/

peakboost is no longer a company.
and i want to ear more about this intake manifold dilemma. i recently solf my greddy and wouldconsider trowing my stock one back on if you have some proof

cody i first tried copying your setup couz its damn awesome but we have 1jz rx7 to compete so this is the main thing........
plus how will i fit the external waste gate with the tomei expreme manifold and tomei outlet hard for meee if i seriously go for you setup i would rather use 75 shots nos on my car as its lightweight will get me in 11s

I'm running a GT3582R and spool doesnt kick in till 5k rpm. Wont do you no good with stock redline. Go build a solid head and make that shit scream to 9k to make the power usable.

stock head + GT35 = FAIL!
you need cams to feel the full effect.
