I can chime in on more review on those coils-over for s14. I bought the LX+ coil-over after I try the gr+ pro. gr+ pro ride very ruff compare to my first coil-overs megan. I could not handle the ruff ride on the gr+ pro so I sold it and went with the lx+. At first the lx+ was very comfortable right out of the box lower about .5 to 1inch above tire. Then i decided i wanted to slam my car (bad decision.) I lower where each of the fender about 1 inch below the top of the tire. The ride all of a sudden became very stiff and bouncy all over again like the gr+ pro but just a tiny bit more comfortable.
So comparing all 3 coil-overs that I have experience with.
I will rate the following from 1 to 5 stars.
Ride Comfort:
Megan- 4 stars
Stance GR+ pro- 3 stars
Stance LX+- 5stars (UNTIL U SLAM IT THEN IT RODE LIKE SHIT)
Stiffness:
Megan- I don’t remember .
Stance GR+ pro- 5
Stance LX+- 4
Comparing both GR+ AND LX+ on full soft settings. The LX had a lot more body roll doing a sharp turn at 80mph.
So all in all. I like the LX+ only when you don’t slam your car. If I could rewind time, I would go the GROUND CONTROL AND KONI YELLOW SETUP. I use to have this setup on my Honda Civic EK Hatch and they rode very comfortable to the point where it felt like stock even when tucking tires.
