Does anyone know of a top mount manifold where the collector pair up cylinders 2&3 and 1&4 side by side. Basically the same way a divided/twin scroll manifold is set up, but without the twin scroll?

why would it matter if they all merge together in one collector

because I'll be fabricating a valve that goes inside the collector and blocks off half of a twin scroll. Kind of like the quick spool valve, but I believe it to be a lot more effiecient because it will not cause the turbulance it causes.
When it is set to "open", it will essentually split the manifold in half, pairing two of the pipes together. So far it would wind up pairing 1&2 and 3&4 together, causing double pulses to be put into each "scroll"

You need a twin scroll turbo! And twin scroll manifold then it will work
