I wanna say throwout bearing.. i did some searching around. I just wanted to make sure.

This noise started right after i got a new clutch....it makes the noise on cold starts... usually when im in first or reverse.. its when i put the car in gear and slowly depress the clutch to accelerate it starts making that noise... and it happens alot more now with the welded diff.. usually whenever the diff locks it starts making that noise...

SORRY IF THIS IS IN THE WRONG SECTION

Did you replace the throwout bearing with the clutch?

mine makes the same sound but its more annoying. it maybe the through out bearing. funny when i got my car the guy put a new clutch in but the next day i found this big bearing glove box wondering what it was... he for got to install the new through out bearing..... also if your in reverse backing up or your in first really moving it in traffic it starts to act up right making that noise

thanks guys.. i had the clutch changed at a shop.... they were trying to tell me it was my tranny going out.... i am not sure if they changed the throw out bearing.. im bringing my car back and gonna ask them about it... my tranny still shifts pretty smoothly so i dont know...

it makes the noise in first or reverse... especially on cold start. less when its warm...
