I sold a front bumper on ebay to some guy...and now I cant ship it...went to UPS and FEDEX...both said its too big...

Has anyone ever shipped a front bumper before or received one?

I need help on figuring out how to ship this damn thing..and I thought UPS could ship this...its not heavy at all...how do bodykit companies ship their products out?

UPS will not take it cause the girth of the dimensions of the box must be 150" or less.....

dunno about Fedex, but Airborne Express should be able to take anything....i've sent a whole rear seat bench along with 2 front seats...

send it out Airborne ground....
also, DO NOT go to any Mail Boxes Etc. or any third party shipper....go directly to the shipper source as MBE usually charges double what the shipper source will charge you

ship it greyhound, my friend sold a bumper and shipped it cross country and it was dirt cheap (like $45)..

also, do what Heartwork said. Dont go to "ups store" or "mail boxes etc" or anything. i sold an old set of wheels (w/tires est. 125lbs) for $35 from the fedex station (FL to VA)

I ship quite abit through fed ex ground. infact I just shipped out a front bumper 2 days ago first off if its stock you should be able to ship it through fed ex groung. But you have to cut the box down to be a perfect fitment of the bumper. you cant leave any excess space. But it should fit with with about 4inches to spare.

I bought a bumper last year off ebay and it was shipped to me from California to North Carolina thru some freight company and left at a small local freight company for me to pick up. I paid like $75 for the shipping and the box was humongous (like 3'x4'x6.5' or something).
