Is this the number on the little metal plate on the CHRA, or stamping on a compressor/turbine housing?
FWIW: Just because it has a Garrett housing doesn't mean the CHRA is Garrett.
Edit: .82AR hotside 70trim coldside sounds like a 60-1

all the trim numbers are stamped on the housing but the part number and serial number are on a metal plate that says garrett on the back side of the cold side

YUp! That outlet housing really helps give it away.
On top of that, look at that chewed up compressor wheel....yuccccck.

That's definitely not a turbo from a powerstroke. Appears to be junk though, that compressor wheel is fucked. When they look that bad, a complete rebuild is usually in need.

You sure? I've put a few aftermarket outlet pipes on, and they all have that same round discharge where it meets the downpipe.

It's really not worth your time with that turbo truthfully.

Inefficient, it's probably just as much money to buy a wheel and have it balanced, and it's a PITA in general.
BUt go ahead and roll with it if you want. Don't let 'cheap or free' decide a mod for you, do it right so you don't need to do it twice.

Call up the phone number on ATPTurbo.com and give them the Part #.
They gave me all the specs of my turbo really quick and answered any questions i had.
Should work as long as its a legit garrett turbo.

Yes, compressor housings look different. The outlet is similar except the 7.3L's have this flapper deal (not the wastegate flapper) on them. The 6.0L's have variable vein.
