Garage Tuner: Video I made with some friends

Watching it initially may not seem Z related, but after the credits it is. Just did this for fun with some friends of mine and am posting this here to see if I can gather local interest for people who might wanna help in the next one (preferably S14-15 and 240z owners in the area). FYI I believe the Skyline and 280z owners are members here, but not sure of their username so sorry ahead of time.

The original intention was just to make something look like it's a series, again, just for fun. Never thought it would gain enough interest to a real sequal. So the youtube is the full clip for act1.

That was sweet! I am pumped for act2. At the end when it gave the preview then ended I was like are you serious. Sweet editing. It kinda reminds me of fast and furious mixed with Initial D+badassery.

I enjoyed it! Pay no mind to the nay sayers. Movies are supposed to capture the fun in our sport. I dont care to watch stuff too realistic, I get enough of that on my own. I look forward to ACT 2.

Just a little criticism, take it or leave it. The part where the "Eclipse" guy walks around his car holding the downpipe/exhaust, is a little exagerated(/sp). Also, small things like the very much pronounced sound effects and what not. Great cinematics and quality!

Wow! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much because of the typical content posted here, but I really enjoyed the cinematography and your use of sound mixing. Usually when I watch shorts, I notice that sound is not much of a priority to some people. I'm also excited to see that you used a T2i. I traded my Canon HV30 in favor of one last month and it's nice to know that many others use the same camera in their productions. I'm looking forward to more of your work.

Regardless of the cars, that video is sick as fuck. I saw that evo 4 somewhere when I was living in livermore and I swear I saw one of the red Supras at the Nor-cal BBQ, is he from wangan junkies?

Anyway props on the video skills, you should come down to the bay area/Santa Cruz sometime this summer and do something more drift & s/z chassis related. I love the feel of the video and dont feel that it was F&F at all. It was a movie so of course parts are going to seem staged.
Overall I give it a 8.5/10, get at me if your interested in doing something down our way.

Thanks everyone. I'm really hoping to get a decent 240sx in the next one, but nothing has solidified yet. Storyboarding has begun on Act 02 so I'll be posting a preview update maybe in a month or so.

If anyone is interested in getting a free copy of the PS3 bluray or DVD of act 01, you can get the details in the link below, but I've only made 50 copies of each. I can definetly say though that the 1080p of the PS3 bluray copy looks 10x better than the youtube version.
