Search engine here holds all the answers...but since you are in Florida, I will spare you this time.

A 180SX and a 240SX are the same platform. All 180SX's are Right hand drive. You drive from our passinger side. They are found in Japan, the UK and Austrailia. You may even find some 180SX's in Hong Kong. The 240SX comes with a 2.4 Liter engine, non turbo. The 180SX came with originally a turbocharged 1.8Liter engine and then a 2.0 liter engine both turbocharged. CA18DET and SR20DET.

1989 and 90 model 240SX's came with the KA24E SOHC and the 91-98 came with the KA24DE DOHC.

Their are also some other differences in the JDM Nissans but for someone to say they are driving a RWD 180SX, it better be Right hand drive..or they are just blowing smoke. We like to go by what the ID tag the car came with originally and how it is titled originally and registered as per what the car really is. I mean..if I put a 3.0 Liter engine in my 240SX would it be a 300? No.

Comparing a JDM 91-96.5 180SX to a USDM 91-93 fastback....

180SX's had different engines than the 240SX. 180SX's used the SR engine, 240SX's used the KA engine. 180SX's with the turbocharged engines were faster.
US 240SXs had electric seatbelts, Canadian 240SX and JDM 180SX had manual seatbelts. 180SX has different turn signals too.
All 180SX's were fastbacks, RHD, in kilometers, obvious stuff like that.

I'm probably forgeting little trim things, but other than that, they are pretty much the same. Body panels, seats, lights, suspension, rims, etc are directly interchangeable. Believe it or not, the spoiler on the chuki 180SX type X is the same foam spoiler on SE and LE fastbacks in the US.

180sx came with LSD as standard.
Options for it included:
Analog climate control
Digital Climate control
Sunroof
Cooler box (yes - in the glovebox!)
ABS
HICAS
Steering wheel (three versions)
Turbo timer (very rare)
Deluxe stereo (very rare, tweeters in sail pillar)
A range of trim fabrics

Late model 180s (94+) had the option of a SR20DE or SR20DET - was black rocker cover but still S13 version. Later mdel 180s (95+ Type X) came with upgraded front bar, side skirts, front indicators and rear tail lights.

hey genius, if you're not going to post anything constructive, don't post. You're not Billy Badass because you know a bit more than someone else, and you're not cool for coming off like the topic starter has been flamed, because he hasn't been.
Unfuck yourself.

Also:
Nobody ever mentions the 200sx! Sold in Europe and Australia in different forms (S13 and S14 in Europe and S15 in Aus.) and with different options/engines.
Imagine a 1994 200sx S13 with CA18DET! :D
