Turbo help asap!!!

what happens if you use a SR redtop ecu with upgraded turbocharger and stock SR MAF but the ecu was not tuned at all?? what would be the worst outcome??? im buying a coupe which is my situation and i have till tuesday to figure it out. guy said it just needs the head gasket most likely but i want to know what you guys think. my opinion the guy was redlining. just let me know.

Blown head gasket and Spun bearings are an out come of this.

Only If they are boosting alot (depending on turbo)

If WG is disconnect and no boost is applied then it should be fine

What kind of turbo and how hard was it driven? If somebody upgraded to a damn 3071R and gently drove the car without getting into boost...then its kosher. But then again, how the hell would you really know?

from what he tells me its a t304, i dont even think that turbocharger exist though. im guessing he might have meant t3t4 if that im going to talk to him tomorrow and find that out. but yea he said its an sr20/ t304 kind of like what you said he wont tell me if he did run it too hard.

Umm...There is more to it than just that.
But if it's still on a stock sr20 manifold, it's definitely not t3.
