Hey does anyone know if i could use tein or apexi spanner wrenches for the coilovers?

its alot easier for me to pick those up instead of the hks spanners

There called 'C Spanners' but i would say that Apexi/HKS/Tein all make the same form of Collar that the C Spanner connects to..

Otherwise just borrow somebody's whos local and test? If you throw up a Photo of your HKS collars i could look at my tiens and see if they are 'similar'

I'm actually having the same issue. I've tried wrenches from Tein, Stance, and Variant 1 coilovers, but the larger (top) perch is the only one they fit. That bottom perch has a very small diameter..

I found these (http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/81802/10002/-1) tonight though and ordered them:

I'll let you know how they work out

UPDATE: they work great, and seem to have enough parameters of adjustment to where they are truly universal
